We are currently seeking winter season Elevate Snowsports ski, snowboard and crossover instructors! Elevate Snowsports offers tailored snowsports instruction in one of the world's top resorts.
About the Company
Elevate Snowsports is one of Niseko's newest ski/snowboard schools, launched after we noticed a demand for private lessons outside of our popular winter kid's camp. Our private lessons are tailored to each adult's and child's individual needs and learning goals. We select the most appropriate part of the mountain for our guests based on ability, learning aspirations, weather and crowds and make sure they get the most out of every minute on the hill.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality lessons tailored to each guest's individual needs and learning goals.
- Choose the most suitable part of the mountain for guests, considering their ability, learning aspirations, weather, and crowd levels.
- Maximize guests' experience on the hill, helping them make the most of every minute.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of each participant under your supervision (Duty of Care).
- Adapt lessons to suit changing conditions and individual guest progress.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere for guests during their lessons.
Selection Criteria
- Certification in skiing and snowboarding instruction. (Minimum level 2 or cross over level 1)
- Experience teaching winter sports to individuals or groups.
- Strong interpersonal and teaching skills.
- Patience and ability to motivate students.
- Must hold a valid Japanese driver's license or be able to obtain an International Driving Permit.
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Must have a Working Holiday Visa.

Employment Period
Long Season, mid-November until early April | Medium season, mid-November until the end of March | Short season, mid-November until the end of February
Working Hours
Depending on customer demand and reservations, working hours can range anywhere from 8 to 40 hours per week, including weekends. You will have at least one full day off each week. (6-8 Hours per day, up to 6 days per week)
Remuneration
Starting at ¥2,250 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
